Artist Biography:
Mark Allen Natale is a contemporary realist painter who was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. He was formally trained as an illustrator at Philadelphia's University of the Arts where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Over the last twenty years, Mark’s oil paintings have been continually on display in local and national juried exhibitions. Mark’s paintings have been recognized with awards, featured in magazine publications and his work can be found in private collections throughout the East Coast. Mark’s current body of work is focused on old signage and how the context relates to contemporary society.
Much like the South Jersey region, he calls home, Mark finds his inspiration from nature, vintage nostalgia, machinery, and architecture. Originally from Egg Harbor City, NJ, Mark lives with his wife and daughters in Barrington, NJ and creates his fine art oil paintings in his home studio.
